SATU TASKINEN (b. 1970) is a Finnish writer living in Vienna, Austria. Her debut novel Täydellinen paisti (The Perfect Roast) was awarded the Helsingin Sanomat Literary Prize. It was also a candidate for the European Book Prize in 2012. It was the first part of a trilogy, the second part of which, Katedraali (The Cathedral), came out in 2014. The third novel, Lapset (Children), came out in 2017. All three novels are published in German. She contributes in several cultural magazines.
